Market · Auctioneers
Licensed auctioneers, in front of the market every day.
KURI's auctions are led by professionally licensed auctioneers, certified under the Korean public-market system. Each auctioneer specializes by product division and is accountable for the integrity of every session they call. The auctioneer license is issued by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and requires examination and ongoing training.
How our team is structured
- Fruit auctioneers (과채부) — covering apples, pears, citrus, melons, stone fruit, berries, grapes, and seasonal specialties.
- Vegetable auctioneers (채소부) — covering napa cabbage, Korean radish, leafy greens, root vegetables, alliums, peppers, mushrooms, and Korean staples.
- Grading and inspection staff who classify each shipment as it arrives, before the auction.
- Settlement and customer-service teams who handle paperwork, payment, and shipper/buyer communication.
Standards we hold
- All auctioneers carry the national wholesale-market auctioneer license (도매시장 경매사 자격).
- Continuing education in produce grading, food-safety regulations, and price-discovery practice.
- Public conduct standards governed by the Agricultural and Fishery Products Distribution and Price Stabilization Act.
- Every auction session is open to designated participants and recorded for transparency.
