How to attend

  • Authorized intermediate wholesalers (중도매인) attend on the floor as standard, registered with the Guri market office.
  • Approved buyers (매매참가인) may bid alongside intermediate wholesalers under their license.
  • Visiting buyers, journalists, and partners are welcome by appointment. Please arrange in advance with our customer service line.
  • On-site parking and floor access are coordinated through the customer service desk.

Holiday closures

KURI closes on Sundays, on national holidays designated by the Korean government, and on the regulated public-market closure days. Lunar New Year (Seollal) and Korean Thanksgiving (Chuseok) typically include several consecutive closure days. The annual schedule is updated each January and is also available from the customer service desk.

Why the early start

Vegetable auctions begin in the early morning hours so that wholesalers and retailers can move product to neighborhood markets and restaurants before the day begins. The schedule reflects the rhythm of the Greater Seoul fresh-food supply chain.
